RS Baker & Sons Ltd, a long established Norfolk-based family firm, runs Little Melton Food Park. The 20-acre site is home to extensive cold storage facilities which can take up to 5,000 pallets. There are three cold storage units, where the temperature is set to -20˚C, and both chilled and frozen goods can be stored. State-of-the-art technology is used to ensure full traceability and storage can be for just one night right through to rolling annual contracts. Both local and international goods are stored and they include meat, fish, poultry, fruit, and vegetables.
