Little Melton Food Park

A production, processing and storage base, including cold storage that offers a welcoming home for food businesses across East Anglia. There are extensive food processing facilities including a food testing kitchen, large warehouses which provide conventional storage and workshop space, and three cold storage units which can take up to 5,000 pallets. Both frozen and chilled goods can be stored.

The 20-acre site is based just south of Norwich and is conveniently located near the A11 and A47 Thickthorn junction. It is easily accessible and is also close to leading ports including Felixstowe. There are ample car and lorry parking facilities.

It is owned by RS Baker & Sons Ltd, a family business based in Norfolk. Its directors, Carl and David Baker, are very hands-on, offering a 24/7 service, and are always willing to work out competitive, flexible deals for their clients. They have many years’ experience and many long-standing customers who benefit from their dedication and professionalism.

Little Melton Food Park is a 12,000 sq m (130,000 sq ft) purpose built food production facility offering a wide range of accommodation to let or hire as complete or in part.

Modern offices

The accommodation includes centrally heated and double glazed offices of a modern standard, incorporating comfort cooling and all with ample parking, offered to let freshly decorated and recarpeted.

Cold Stores* & Chill Stores

To let and hire, the chill stores and cold stores comprise of a wide range of buildings from small rooms designed to run at 0 to 4°C to an impressive 1,800 sq m (19,375 sq ft) cold store with 560 sq m (6,025 sq ft) chilled loading bay, designed to operate at minus 24°C.

The cold store is available to let as a whole or on a palletised basis and can accommodate up to 3,450 pallets.

This space includes three modern, steel portal framed buildings with concrete floors and vehicular access doors, suitable for dry goods storage, conventional storage and workshop space.
